1 A bad settlement is better than a good lawsuit
2 It's better to be idiot than to pretend wise"

Meaning: English people make modest company.
4 A journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step.-
5 A bad penny always turns up. Meaning: Your mistakes will come back to haunt
you. Or Bad people will always return.
6 A good enemy is a better person than a false friend
7 A big tree attracts the woodsman's axe.
Meaning: Those who make themselves seem great will attract bad things.
8 An apple a day keeps the doctor away.
9 A bad workman (always) blames his tools.
Meaning: People never blame themselves for what they do. Instead,
they blame what they use.
10 A banker is someone who lends you an umbrella when the sun is shining, and
who asks for it back when it starts to rain.
11 Bad news travels fast
12 Bread is the staff of life.
13 Break the Law as the Law should be beaten
14 Buy the best and you only cry once
15 Do it today, tomorrow it may be against the law.
16 Doctors make the worst patients.
17 Don't ask God to guide your footsteps if you're not willing to move your feet.
18 Don't bite the hand that feeds you
19 Early to bed and early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise
